There are things in the world that delight my visual sense and there are things that touch and delight my emotions. I am most happy to press the camera shutter when I find subjects that excite a combination of those two things. I don’t always find them but paying attention and having my eyes open and ready when they do appear is what I strive for. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago.
